Alkhuzam & Co. seeks an Accountant
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and organized financial records by recording daily transactions, reconciling bank statements, and updating ledgers.
Prepare financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Assist in developing and monitoring budgets, providing insights on variances, and recommending corrective actions as necessary.
Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations, addressing audit findings, and implementing recommendations.
Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including finance, operations, and management to support objectives and initiatives.
Stay updated on accounting standards, regulations, and industry best practices, ensuring compliance in all financial activities.
Utilize accounting software and tools proficiently to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Requirements:
Preferred female candidate.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
Proficiency in Accounting Software (Xero &/ Odoo) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Excellent problem-solving, communication & interpersonal skills.
CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
